QUEEN'S PARK - The average rent in London increased 33% over the last year, more than any other Canadian city. Tenants desperately need better protections, as well as more affordable rental options, but removing rental replacement requirements could hurt low-income tenants. MPP Peggy Sattler (London West) urged the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing to support tenants and those who need access to affordable housing.
