Skylar Franke is the City of London Councillor for Ward 11. She is passionate about her community, the environment, and politics in this city. Skylar previously worked in London’s environmental sector, including as the Executive Director of the London Environmental Network, and supported a wide variety of environmental projects in London.
Kate Graham researches, writes, speaks and teaches about politics in Canada's cities. She holds a PhD in Political Science (Local Government) and works with municipal governments across Canada on issues of governance, decision making, priority setting, community engagement and research. Kate believes that politics can be a force of good.
Shawna Lewkowitz is a researcher, public speaker and educator with over 25 years experience studying, facilitating, and managing urban projects, particularly related to issues of gender and equity. Shawna has worked in a range of settings including government and institutions, and founded and led multiple community-based organizations and advocacy initiatives.
Jennifer Slay is a Registered Social Worker, certified life coach, motivational speaker, trainer, and author. She co-created All Women L.E.A.D. to support women in their leadership abilities, as well as the Anti-Racism Education Program Shifting Perspectives, the Black London Network, and the award-winning talk show Melanated View. Jennifer is also a dedicated community volunteer.
