This petition was created by the 2019 Girls' Government, a group of Grade 8 students in London West, and it calls on the Legislative Assembly to increase funding for sexual assault centres to ensure that girls and young women have access to counselling and support, and require all school boards to: provide free menstrual products, review dress codes, incorporate consent into all curriculum, address issues of gender identity and sexual orientation in sexual education, provide resources and staff training, and reverse class size increases.
