QUEEN'S PARK - On the eve of International Women's Day, the London Coordinating Committee to End Woman Abuse released a snapshot showing there were more than 10,000 domestic and sexual violence crisis calls in the London area in 2022 – a 54% increase from the year before. At Queen's Park, I asked the Premier to include in this year's budget the increased and stable funding that local organizations (such as Anova, Atlohsa Family Healing Services, and London Abused Women's Centre) need to keep women and children safe.
