Save Our Bike Lanes

On October 16, 2024, Ontario's Minister of Transportation announced new legislation that would allow the province to oversee proposed new bike lines in municipalities—all 444 of them—across Ontario. In fact, they will not only restrict new bike lanes, but will direct the destruction of some existing ones.

Research supports the use of bike lanes for safe, healthy, vital communities. Removing bike lanes will not get drivers out of gridlock. Bike lanes help people get around our communities safely. Bike lanes are good for our health. Bike lanes help tackle climate change. Bike lanes are even good for small businesses.

Download and sign my petition to tell the government not to stand in the way of bike lanes, and let me know below why this is important to you.
