Conservative downloading has led to fare increases and the threat of service cuts for London Transit. That’s why I strongly supported the motion brought forward by my colleague Jessica Bell, #ONDP Critic for Transit and MPP for University—Rosedale, calling on the Ontario government to match municipal funding for public transit agencies across the province. In the face of a climate emergency, we should be making it easier – not more expensive or less convenient – for Londoners and all Ontarians to use public transit.
